Holidays Time!

Hello Everyone,
I can't believe how fast time goes and I can't believe I didn't blog for almost 3 months.
Big changes in my life kept me away from blogging, although I'm on the computer many hours of the day. On top of it, this time of the year is the craziest for me, It's all together: Chanukah, Christmas and most important - My sweetest twin boys birthday.
So, we celebrated their 5th birthday on Sunday at our Train park with a train theme party. Luckily the rain stopped just before the party started and restarted as soon as we got into the car.
So I made, almost last minute, Christmas cards for family and friends.
First I thought they will be all pastels and very soft but I ended up making them a bit darker in colors, still love them :) The sweet vintage images I found on Etsy, at JLeeloo, she has a very cool digital files she is selling, very Shabby and Vintagey.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a happy holiday season,
PennyLine

Wall Decor

Hi Everyone,

Another birthday party. Another gift to make.
This little girl, my daughter's friend has a long long name, so I had to go bigger.
Usually I use 5 X 7 frame. This time I used, at the first time, 8 X 10 shadow box that I found last week at Michael's on sale. I love the results, and it's fun as I can use any embellishment that I want. I'm not limited as far as thickens.
Alessandra is an elegant classic girl, so I tried to match the gift for her style and I think it turned out really nice and I believe she will love it.
I finished the gift and wrapped it and we rushed out being late for the party. Last month I made one for another friend of Luna, and yesterday at the party her mom came to me and thanked me for the special pretty gift. I was pleased! :)

Ingredients:

Card stock, Pearls, Blings - Recollections
Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found -  Market Street
Cricut Cartridge - Sophisticated - Teresa Collins
Flowers, Lace, Ribbon - toiDe on Etsy

Have a Great week,

Thank you

Here are 2 cards that I was working on few weeks ago, when I came back from my summer vacation. They were inspired by Mojo Monday #254 but never were submitted to the challenge.
I made those cards for my friends who helped while we were far, far away...
The stamp on the second card is an Hebrew stamp from the sets I bought in Israel in the summer. It looks funny but it means: "There is no one like you".
I'm glad to have some stamps in Hebrew in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by,

Have a great weekend,

Gratitude Always

Yes, it's this time of the year again that we think and count what we have, how lucky we are and so on...
I really wanted to make a very minimalistic card, but looks like I'm not there yet.
I'll try again soon.
This card was inspired by two favorite challenges:
IBSC#27
Mojo Monday #259

Rooster Kitchen Wall Art

Just finished this Rooster Kitchen Wall Art a thank you gift for our relatives in New York that we stayed with last month.
Vera has a whole collection of different Roosters in her kitchen, so I thought this one will be a nice addition.
I used the Mojo Monday weekly sketch for composition. Was fun to work on.

Was also entered to:

Follow Your Bliss

Hi Everybody,

Time flies, it's almost the middle of September, I can't believe how this year just disappearing...
I hope everybody had a great labor day weekend. We chose to hit the road and we had the most beautiful road trip ever. We left Friday night and 11 hours later we woke up the kids at the middle of the forest. At redwood national park, Humboldt, CA. The redwood trees were here long time before us, I think somebody said, since the dinosaurs were here. These 350 feet trees are so amazing that I almost held my breath the whole time we were there, but the air up there is so fresh and clean that you better breath as much as you can before you are beck to the smokey civilization.
Following my card (inspired by: Mojo Monday #257 and IBSC#25) are some pictures of this pure nature, that if I just could, I would stay there without looking back even one time. So now, I guess, I should follow my bliss and move up there :) I wish....
